Enhanced comfort, reduced weight:
Composite leaf springs (GFRP)

Leaf springs have long been the standard solution for heavy vehicles such as motorhomes, trucks and trailers. Our composite leaf springs offer an innovative upgrade compared to traditional steel leaf springs.

They have been specially developed to provide greater ground clearance, improved ride comfort and significant weight savings – all without compromising stability or safety.

Why choose composite leaf springs?

Composite leaf springs are manufactured from glass fibre reinforced composite materials. This makes them considerably lighter than steel, corrosion-resistant and able to maintain their spring characteristics – even after prolonged and intensive use.

  • Weight reduction of between 17 and 32 kg, depending on the type of leaf spring replaced
  • Increased ride height and greater ground clearance
  • Enhanced ride comfort thanks to longer spring travel
  • Improved road holding and vehicle stability
  • Long service life, even under heavy loads

Perfect for the X250-X290 chassis

Our composite leaf springs have been developed for vehicles built on the X250/X290 chassis, including the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper, Opel Movano and Toyota Proace Max. They solve common issues such as limited spring travel and harsh impacts on the rear axle. Particularly for motorhomes – where occupant comfort is key – these springs offer a major improvement.
