Full air suspension for the Volkswagen Caddy and Ford Transit Tourneo Connect

Foto: Caddy en Tourneo

The Volkswagen Caddy and Ford Transit Tourneo Connect are frequently used for wheelchair transportation. Driving the wheelchair in and out of the vehicle is still a difficult job, despite the installation of a ramp. Fortunately, this can be made a lot easier! Our full air suspension system on the rear axle makes this possible. The air suspension can lower the vehicle at the rear – this is also known as 'kneeling'. However, this is not the only advantage of a full air suspension system; it also ensures a constant ride height, which reduces spring sag. In addition, the system offers improved driving characteristics, which benefit both the driver and the wheelchair user.

No more need for a long ramp for wheelchair entry and exit

Thanks to the convenient 'kneeling function' of the air suspension, you can lower the rear axle of the vehicle with the push of a button. This significantly reduces the angle of entry, eliminating the need for a long ramp. The animation demonstrates all the benefits that a full air suspension system can provide for your Volkswagen Caddy or Ford Transit Tourneo Connect.

Improved driving characteristics
Wheelchair users want to experience a sense of security and confidence en route to their destination. This means you want to be able to offer tailored transport solutions. Our product – the VB-FullAir 2C – alleviates the physical discomforts wheelchair users may experience. This makes it easy to get a wheelchair into and out of the vehicle, while the full air suspension system ensures improved driving characteristics such as a constant ride height and a stable vehicle.
