It was time for cake again!

Last week we celebrated, as our colleague Gertjan Meijer had been with us for 12.5 years on January 1, 2025! While he once (or rather: more than 12.5 years ago) started in the sales department in the Netherlands, he quickly became the President of our subsidiary VB-Airsuspension USA.

As usual, we're always curious about our colleagues' stories, so we gladly asked him: what's your reason for working at VB-Airsuspension for 12.5 years?

Gertjan Meijer | President
"The past 12.5 years have literally and figuratively flown by for me. As the person responsible for the USA, I've happily divided my time between the Netherlands and the United States. It was a wonderful experience to work on both sides of the ocean and build our American branch together.

I look forward to the coming period, where I'll be spending more time in the Netherlands in my current role, enthusiastically applying my energy and experience to the further growth and development of VB-Airsuspension.

Thanks to everyone who has been part of this special journey so far – I look forward with confidence and motivation to what the next 12.5 years will bring!"

Gertjan, here's to many more years at VBA, and congratulations on your work anniversary!

Intern days: through the eyes of our HR colleagues

In 2024, our HR department started organising a 'intern day' twice a year. This takes place in each traineeship period – once in the February to June traineeship period and once in the September to January period.
