Wish: My vehicle must always have a standard ride height
An (auxiliary) air suspension system could well be the solution. If your vehicle does not always have a standard ride height, this is often due to the suspension system not being ideal for the current condition, application or use of your vehicle. This can lead to unsafe situations. Or: Your vehicle reacts differently than expected.
By upgrading your vehicle with an (auxiliary) air suspension system, you can compensate for the deficiency in your current suspension system and return your vehicle to the correct ride height to ensure it is level.
This is desirable, since having your vehicle level and at the correct ride height is ideal for safety and contributes to increased safety, increased comfort, increased stability and optimal driveability.
This wish is common with the following:
Why does my vehicle not always have a standard ride height?
Your ride height is determined by your load state. If it is variable, this also applies to your ride height with 'permanent suspension'. In this case, you are looking for an adjustable solution or a self-regulating solution. This can increase or decrease the (air) pressure of the suspension system depending on your load state.
How is that possible? Probably unlike during the installation of your current suspension system, our (air) suspension systems (from our VB-Partners) are recommended based on the current condition, application and use of your vehicle.
My vehicle must always have a standard ride height.
If you always want a standard ride height, you may encounter a problem when this is not the case. Your ride height is variable, which means that your vehicle also has variable vehicle behaviour.
Characteristics of the problem (visible, tangible or audible):
1. Visible, your vehicle is not level.
2. Tangible, when driving in certain situations.
3. Audible, your vehicle interior and load make a range of noises, such as when the load is too heavy or too light.
Possible consequences of the problem:
1. Your vehicle has too little or too much spring travel, at the expense of your comfort.
2. Your vehicle (including its occupants and contents) will be subjected to heavy wear and tear, at the expense of its durability.
3. Your vehicle responds differently than expected, at the expense of your safety.
