Problem: The ramp angle of my vehicle is too high

A full air suspension system could well be the solution. If you feel the ramp angle of the vehicle is too high, your current suspension system is not ideal for the current condition, application or use of your vehicle. Or: The ramp angle needs to be reduced.

By upgrading your vehicle with a full air suspension system, your vehicle's ramp angle becomes adjustable, providing functionalities at a standstill, while in riding mode the vehicle returns – as desired – to the correct ride height to ensure it is level.

This is desirable, since having your vehicle level and at the correct ride height is ideal for safety and contributes to increased safety, increased comfort, increased stability and optimal driveability.

Do you want your vehicle (and/or trailer) to have a lower ramp angle?

That's possible. Choosing a full air suspension system makes your suspension adjustable. You can reduce the ramp angle of both vehicles with and without a trailer thanks to this adjustable solution. On vehicles without a trailer, lower the vehicle on the rear axle at the press of a button, thus reducing the ramp angle. On vehicles with a trailer, raise the vehicle on the rear axle at the touch of a button. The trailer hitch raises the trailer and reduces the ramp angle of the vehicle.

Understandable confusion: The vehicle itself has to cope with high ramp angles.

On this page, we mean: "Reducing the ramp angle to enter your vehicle." But what if your vehicle has an excessively high ramp angle, causing the rear of your vehicle to touch the ground? This can also be solved with full air suspension. We have even dedicated a button to this on our motorhome remote: the 'ferry function'. This function can be activated while driving (up to approx. 30 km/h) and raises the rear of the vehicle as far as possible, making it easier for the vehicle to drive onto a ferry.
